After a season at Middle Georgia Prep, that really boosted his stock, Smith proved himself against some of the toughest Prep & JUCO competition in the Southeast. Averaging 19.1ppg and shooting over 42% from beyond the arc, Stan was one of the best available shooters in the country for the Class of 2019.
Receiving interests and offers from programs across the country, Stan has decided to end his recruitment and commit to Salem University (WV)! Salem University finished 17-9 last season and look to build upon the success they had last season.
Stan will be playing for one of the best young coaches in the game, Adam Williams. Coach Williams is a former guard for the University of Kentucky and Marshall University. Williams also was an assistant coach at NCAA Division I Longwood University in Farmville, Virginia under head coach Jayson Gee.
