Jason McKie is one of the most talented hidden gems in the Atlanta Metropolitan area. He is a tough, hard nosed guard who gives 110% each second he is on the basketball court. Jason competes every possession on both ends of the court. Offensively, he is an extremely versatile scorer: he can shoot the three, has an excellent pull-up jumper from mid-range, and he is able to get to the rim and finish over bigger, longer defenders. In addition, he is an effective facilitator due to his ability to penetrate into gaps and create easy scoring opportunities for his teammates. Following the 2016-17 season, Jason was named honorable mention All-Region for Region 4-AAAAAAA. The #PROMovement Staff expects Jason to have an even better senior season at Walton High School.

At the next level, Jason projects as a very attractive prospect for schools in need of a floor general who can run a team. Jason is the consummate point guard – he is able to facilitate while remaining in attack mode on offense. As a result, he keeps defenses constantly off balance. On the other end of the court, Jason is ready to be an impact defensive player from Day One. He is capable of defending the full 94 feet. Jason is a quality young man who make any college program better on the court, in the locker room and in the community. He plans to pursue a degree in Aviation.
