Most players think if they received a letter in the mail from a college coach that means the school is seriously recruiting them. In all honesty, colleges send out generic letters quite frequently to a large number of potential student-athletes. This misconception often has the student- athlete sit and wait on offers or phones calls from coaches that may never come.
