Darius Turman has been one of the most sought after #JUCO prospects on the market for the last few months. Being recruited by schools such as Benedict, Fisk, Indiana University – Southeast & Xavier University (LA), the 6’6″ forward has decided to end his recruitment and commit to Edward Waters College!
Coming off a NJCAA National Tournament appearance with Cleveland State CC, Turman saw his stock increase drastically. Proving to be one of the most explosive athletes in the country, Darius is also a great student that will graduate with his associates degree in May.
Edward Waters is a member of the GCAC, which competes in the NAIA. The Tigers made it to the Conference Championship game last season. Head Coach Summers told our PRO Movement staff, “Darius was at the top of our board and was definitely a priority for us. He will be able to step in and help us from day one”. Coach Summers is the former GCAC Coach of the Year and one of the most respected coaches in the game.
