Lauren Brown- Lanier High School (Point Guard, 2014)
Senior point guard Lauren Brown, from Lanier High School (Buford, GA), has definitely made a name for herself on the recruiting circuit over the past month. The smooth 5’5 point guard has increased her production each year since starting on varsity since her sophomore season. Arguably, Lauren is one of the best perimeter defenders in the region (8-AAAA), known for her hounding defense. She is averaging almost 3 steals per contest.
Lauren finishes her senior season being named to the All-Region (8-AAAA) team, as well as being selected to participate in the Gwinnett County Senior All-Star Game. Lauren is gaining interest from multiple NCAA D2 schools in the SIAC as well as the GSC. She has also drawn interest from several NAIA schools in the SSAC as well as The Sun Conference.
Lauren Brown is also a great student, which is a reason she is at the top of many recruiting lists for college coaches. Continue to follow PRO Movement Basketball for updates on Lauren!
