Shania Thomas is a very talented wing that is leading Apalachee High School this season. She has served as the team captain for the last two seasons and has evolved into one of the premier talents in the region. Standing 5’9, Thomas has used her versatility to dominant opposing teams. She has played every position on the court, except the center. Thomas loves to attack the rim and finish at the basket. However, she has also proven to be a consistent 3-Pt shooter. Thomas was named Offensive Player of the Year for her high school as a junior. Although she can score the ball very well, Shania loves to make the extra pass and setting up her teammates. Shania Thomas is having an excellent senior campaign and will on continue to get better.

Shania has the potential to be a very good collegiate basketball player. The height, size, skill level and basketball IQ is all there. With her versatility, she would definitely had value to a college roster. Shania plans to study Physical Therapy during college.
