Darius Johnson is an under the radar high academic prospect from Hiram High School. He is an excellent student, currently possessing a 3.76 GPA along with a 25 on the ACT and 1130 on the SAT. This young man understands the importance of doing well in the classroom. On the court, Darius is a strong, physical guard who imposes his will on opposing perimeter players. As a lead guard, he sets the tone for the team at both ends of the court. Defensively, he is capable of guarding the ball the entire 94 feet. On the offensive end, he is an unselfish player who does an outstanding job of creating scoring opportunities for his teammates. Darius had a great summer and is looking forward to his senior season. The #PROMovement staff expects him to have a very successful senior campaign.
Physically, Darius will be ready to play at the next level on Day 1. He’s a high character young man who will represent the program well on the court, in the classroom, and in the community. He will be a tremendous asset for any collegiate program looking for a floor general who isn’t afraid to do the little things needed to win basketball games. He leads by example – he’s a tough player who plays with a high level of energy and demands the same level of effort from his teammates. Darius plans to pursue the pre-medical educational track.
