Christina Long is a 5’9″ forward from North Gwinnett High School (Suwanee, GA). Long is a very physical & strong prospect that is an excellent defender and known for her hustle plays. The intangible things that may not show up in the box score, that are needed to win basketball games, is what Long prides herself on. Because of Long’s strength & toughness she is able to efficiently defend players that are taller and bigger than her. Long has a high motor and energy that inspires her teammates to play even harder and COMPETE. The #PROMovement staff expects Long to have a breakout senior season.

Christina Long has the potential to be a very solid prospect. Every team needs a tough, hard-nosed & selfless  player that will do whatever it takes to win games. Long isn’t focused on the traditional statistics that most players are (point scored and shot attempts). Long focuses on the the plays that may go unnoticed to the casual basketball fan. Rebounding the basketball, taking charges, deflections and not taking plays off are areas Long prides herself in. She will definitely add value to a collegiate roster with her toughness and physicality. Long is also a high character student-athlete you can trust on and off the court. She plans to pursue a degree in Criminal Justice.
